Prof. Radoslav Gajanin, Rector of the University of Banja Luka, and Dr Biljana Vojvodic, acting director of the Agency for Accreditation of Higher Education Institutions of the Republic of Srpska, signed the contract on providing services regarding accreditation to the University on 22 May 2018.
The Contract, signed at the Rector’s office, is concerned with implementing the process of accreditation of this higher education institution, to be performed by the Agency.
With regards to this process, the external evaluation of the quality assurance system is going to be executed, in order to determine the extent of its harmonization with the standards and guidelines for assuring quality within the European are of higher education and the criteria regulating this field in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Upon the finish of the process concerned, the University of Banja Luka is going to be issued a decision on accreditation and its subsequent registration according to legal acts of the Republic of Srpska and Bosnia and Herzegovina respectively, as well as according to the regulations of European associations in this field. In addition, the University of Banja Luka is going to be issued a decision regarding accreditation of 16 study programmes operating under its auspices.
The ceremony was attended by Prof. Strain Posavljak, Vice-Rector for Education and Students’ Affairs of the University of Banja Luka, and Ms Tatjana Radakovic, Senior Associate of the Agency for Accreditation of Higher Education Institutions of the Republic of Srpska.
