Prof. Radoslav Gajanin, Rector of the University of Banja Luka, met with Mr Alen Seranic, Minister of Science and Technology of the Republic of Srpska, on 4 June 2018.
At the meeting in the Rector's office, Prof. Gajanin and Mr Seranic agreed on the need for increasing funds for scientific and research projects. In addition, they discussed harmonization of and amendments to the Rulebook on Procedure and Conditions for Academic Rank Promotion, as well as the Rulebook on Academic and Scientific Titles.
Prof. Gajanin pointed out the University's dedication to being a reliable partner both to the Government of the Republic of Srpska and country's business community in realizing certain projects with a high level of professionalism.
In reply to this, Mr Seranic expressed his full support to the activities and commended the existing cooperation of the two institutions, emphasizing the need for encouraging international cooperation utilizing the European Commission funds.
The meeting was also attended by Dr Sinisa Marcic, Assistant Minister for Science, and Prof. Strain Posavljak, Vice-Rector for Education and Students' Affairs.
