International Cooperation module integrated at the University

Office of the Vice-Rector for International and Inter-University Cooperation in cooperation with the University Computer Center has implemented International Cooperation module as a part of the Integrated Information System of the University of Banja Luka.

Multiple training courses took place from March 18 to 25, 2019 at the Rectorate of the University of Banja Luka, at which the module was presented to representatives of organizational units.

Prof. Dr. Biljana Antunović, Vice-Rector for International and Inter-University Cooperation, pointed out that great efforts have been made to establish a functional module that will facilitate all procedural actions regarding the exchange of staff and students, and enable electronic records when it comes to international cooperation.

She emphasized that the module was made in compliance with legal and secondary legislation, in particular the Rulebook on International Student and Staff Exchange, and the Rulebook on the Procedure for Concluding Agreements on Academic, Business-Technical and Professional Cooperation.

Jelena Rožić, MA, Senior Associate for International and Inter-University Cooperation, explained the importance of the International Cooperation module.

She explained that the main goal was to establish international cooperation registers on all levels of the organizational structure of the University and in all aspects of international cooperation.

Djordje Stojisavljevic, MA, Senior Associate developer, emphasized that the International Cooperation module was created using Java, integrated with other modules of the Information System of the University, and available online to employees and students through web applications eZaposleni and eStudent.

Through International Cooperation module employees and students will be informed about new scholarships and competitions, and apply for international exchange programs for staff and students.
