Vice Rector Antunovic at the Rectors’ Forum

Vice Rector for International and Interuniversity Cooperation of the University of Banja Luka Professor Biljana Antunovic, PhD, took part in the 5th South East Europe and the Western Balkans Rectors’ Forum, held on 4 December 2019 at the University of Ljubljana.

The 5th Rectors’ Forum was attended by about 30 rectors and vice-rectors of the universities of South East Europe and the Western Balkans, who are involved in education, research, transfer of knowledge and applications for European projects. Rector of the University of Ljubljana Professor Igor Papic, PhD, chaired the Forum. Jagiellonian University in Krakow is a new member of the Rectors’ Forum.

The focus was on applying for European projects, and a new project coordinated by the University of Ljubljana called EUTOPIA was presented. It is a project implemented with the financial support of the European Union, as part of the Erasmus+ program, and it represents a union of six European universities, which together have 165,000 students and 30,000 employees, as well as 760 different scientific fields.
