Rector Gajanin as Visiting Professor in China

On 9 December 2023, Rector of the University of Banja Luka Prof. Radoslav Gajanin, PhD, was invited as a visiting professor at Shanghai University of Medicine and Health Sciences.

Formal promotion at which Rector Gajanin was promoted to the title of visiting professor by Rector of the University of Medicine and Health Sciences of Shanghai Prof. Wu Tao, PhD, was held at Shanghai Medical Technology and Equipment Conference.                                  

In addition, Rector Gajanin presented the work and research on the topic of "Clinicopathological Characteristics, Treatment Patterns, and Outcomes in Patients with Laryngeal Cancer". Rector Wu, vice-rectors, deans, academic staff and students of the University of Medicine and Health Sciences, as well as representatives of Chinese companies dealing with medical technology and equipment, attended the lecture given by Rector Gajanin.

Last month, a delegation from the University of Medicine and Health Sciences of Shanghai visited the University of Banja Luka and at that occasion it was agreed to open the Innovation Center for the Transfer of Biomedical Technology and Equipment.

The delegation of the University of Banja Luka, comprising, in addition to Rector Gajanin, Vice-Rector for Human and Material Resources Prof. Dalibor Kesić, PhD, Head of the Sinology Study Programme Asst. Prof. Ljiljana Stević, PhD, and Teaching Assistant Anja Mudrenović, MA, are on a several-day working visit to China.
