The Erasmus+ program aims to support activities in the field of education, training, youth and sport for the period from 2014 to 2020.
The International Credit Mobility component promotes activities concerning transnational exchange of students and staff in order to:
- Support students in acquiring competencies in order to improve their personal development and increase their chances of employment in the labor market;
- Support professional development in the field of higher education for innovation and improvement of the quality of teaching and training;
- Significantly improve foreign language competence of the participants;
- Raise awareness and understanding of participants about other cultures and countries, offering them the possibility of building a network of international contacts, including the possibility of active participation in society, as well as developing a sense of European identity;
- Increase capacity, attractiveness and international dimension of higher education institutions so that they are able to offer activities and programs that are more appropriate for the needs of individuals;
- Provide greater synergies and transition between formal and informal education as well as vocational training, employment and entrepreneurship;
- Provide greater recognition of competencies achieved through studying / training abroad.
