Ability to handle statically determined structures. Ability to handle statically indeterminate structures.
Content | ||||
Technical theory of beams. Linear systems in the plane - static analysis.Linear systems in the plane - kinematic analysis. Statically determined systems - structural analysis. Methods for solving statically determined structures. Structures composed of one kinematically rigid plate. Structures composed of two or more kinematically rigid plates. Structures composed of a chain of plates. Trusses. The principle of virtual forces. Determination of generalized displacements of statically determined structures. Statically indeterminate systems - general considerations. Force method - Determination of generalized displacement of a statically indeterminate structures. Conditional equations of the force method - Principle of virtual forces. Application of the kinematic method to statically indeterminate structures.
