Learning objectives | ||||
Introduce the student with recycling techniques of different types of waste in the chemical industry. Influence the development of awareness about the use of waste materials as raw materials for the production of new products. | ||||
Learning outcomes | ||||
The student is able to recommend appropriate experimental techniques and methods for characterizing waste materials. It is capable of assessing the suitability of a method for recycling a certain category of waste. | ||||
Content | ||||
Formation, types and properties of waste materials in some processes of the organic chemical industry; Review of legal regulations and management plan for a certain category of waste in BiH and the EU; Types and categories of waste generated in the processes: oil processing, coal processing, polymer materials processing, wood processing, etc. as well as ways of recycling them. | ||||
