Napredna digitalna infrastruktura za harmonizaciju mjerenja temperature
The automation of temperature measurement and calibration, together with digital procedures for reliable communication with sensors, is becoming essential in metrology, industry and the health sector, as it reduces calibration time and errors. Many emerging National Metrology Institutes with limited resources need to expand their digital capabilities. This project aims to establish a common, compatible digital infrastructure for temperature measurement and dissemination using open-source solutions, and to support the use of Digital Calibration Certificates (DCCs) across Europe. The specific objectives are: Identify relevant standards, practices and developments related to the digitalisation of temperature measurement, including the digital SI, European DCC initiatives and digitalised mise-en-pratiques. Develop data-exchange formats and APIs enabling machine interpretation and automation of complex procedures such as uncertainty evaluation and function interpolation. Define workflow specifications and software frameworks for automated digital processes, from measurement to DCC generation, ensuring compatibility among participating institutes. Ensure data immutability and self-sovereign identities through decentralised architectures compliant with eIDAS. Support the adoption and long-term use of the developed digital capabilities by NMIs, laboratories and industry, and coordinate the approach with EURAMET partners.
