Learning objectives | ||||
The goal of the course is for the student to master the characteristics and ecological production potential of the most common types of soil in our area, and to become familiar with the current ones classifications and the method of making pedological maps. In addition, the goal is for the student to acquire knowledge about the most common factors of degradation of forest lands, threat from floods, erosion and fires, and the possibilities of prevention through sustainable management of land resources. | ||||
Learning outcomes | ||||
The student acquires the necessary knowledge about soil types and their properties as well as ecological production potential. He is trained to independently determine soil types, recognition of degraded soils and degradation factors, and their assessment productivity for certain plant species, as well as possible measures for sustainable land management in the given conditions. | ||||
