GeneralIsraeli professor Gideon Greif, chief historian of the Shem Olam Holocaust Institute for Education, Documentation and Research gave a lecture at University of Banja Luka, Faculty of Philosophy on Tuesday the 17th of October 2017. During his interesting lecture, professor Greif compared the Holocaust and the genocide over Serbs in the Independent State of Croatia (1941‒1945), as well as Auschwitz and Jasenovac. His lecture was attended by staff and students of History and Philosophy, who had an opportunity to ask questions and participate in discussion. The lecture was realized within cooperation between Faculty of Philosophy and the Republic Center for Research of War and War Crimes and Search for Missing People, whose researches, including the Director Mr. Milorad Kojić, also attended the lecture. Moderator of the event was Goran Latinović, PhD. and Assistant Professor, Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Philosophy.
