Rector of the University of Banja Luka, professor Radoslav Gajanin, Ph.D. participated in the 3rd Rectors' Forum of South-East Europe and the Western Balkans held on February 7th and 8th, 2019, at the University of Mostar.
The Forum, organized by the University of Mostar, hosted Rectors and representatives from 30 universities who signed Academic inter-institutional Cooperation Agreement.
The Agreement predicts strong engagement and cooperation in the field of scientific research and higher education, cooperation in the creation of joint curricula and joint projects within various funding programs, as well as joint action in terms of improved coordination of higher education and labor market.
A permanent administrative body has been appointed to coordinate further activities within this regional inter-university initiative.
The speakers in the introductory part of the Forum were as follows: Professor Zoran Tomić, Ph.D., Rector of the University of Mostar, as the host of the Forum; Professor Damir Boras, Ph.D., Rector of the University of Zagreb, who presented the conclusions of the Second Forum held in Zagreb last year; Professor Ivanka Popović, Ph.D., Rector of the University of Belgrade and professor Snježana Prijić - Samaržija, Ph.D., Rector of the University of Rijeka.
It was announced that the Fourth Rectors’ Forum of South-East Europe and the Western Balkans will be held in Podgorica at the end of April this year.
