Return of the Chevening Scholar Danilo Kovac to the University of Banja Luka
University of Banja LukaGeneralDanilo Kovac, Senior Assistant of History at the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Banja Luka, returned to the University of Banja Luka after the successfully completed Master Studies at the prestigious University College London, where he went through the Chevening scholarship program.
Chevening Foundation was established in 1983 and it provides scholarships to students from 160 countries. In collaboration with a number of UK institutions and universities, the Chevening Foundation provides many professional trainings and seminars across the UK to its scholars. Every year, about 50,000 interested students apply for the Chevening scholarship, and only 1,700 of them get it.
Danilo Kovac had previously earned a Master's Degree in General Contemporary History from the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Banja Luka, and had received recommendations for the studies in London from Professor Goran Latinovic, PhD, of the University of Banja Luka, and Professor Mark Vander Linden, PhD, of the University of Cambridge.
Danilo Kovac has participated in numerous professional seminars and conferences in London, Rome, Naples, Trieste, Berlin, Buchenwald, Paris, Vienna, Sarajevo and Banja Luka, on various topics in the history teaching methods, general and national history, art and archeology history.
