University of Banja Luka at the 64th International Belgrade Book Fair
University of Banja LukaGeneralThe University of Banja Luka is presenting some of its editions at the 64th International Book Fair in Belgrade.
The publications of the University of Banja Luka can be found at the booth of the Republic of Srpska Representative Office in Serbia, opened on Monday, 21 October 2019. The opening ceremony was attended by Director of the Representative Office Mladjen Cicovic, Metropolitan Hrizostom (Jevic) of Daba and Bosnia and RS Minister of Education and Culture Natalija Trivic, who gave a speech. This year’s presentation of publications from the Republic of Srpska will focus on the five centuries anniversary of Gorazde Printing House (1519‒2019).
The opening of the Representative Office display booth was attended by Vice Rector for Scientific Research and University Development Professor Goran Latinovic, PhD, on behalf of the University of Banja Luka, who presented the book „What Did They Do Wrong?” about the suffering of babies in 1992 at the Clinical Center in Banja Luka. The book was published by the Center for War Investigations, War Crimes and Missing Persons of the Republic of Srpska, and the author of the book is Nikola Borkovic, a history professor who is studying for a master’s degree in national contemporary history under the mentorship of Professor Goran Latinovic, PhD.
Around 500 exhibitors from Serbia, the Republic of Srpska and the world visited the International Book Fair, taking place from 20th to 27th October.
