The Enrollment of Students from Libya Discussed
University of Banja LukaGeneralRector of the University of Banja Luka Prof. Radoslav Gajanin, PhD, and Adviser to the Minister of Education of Libya Jamal S O Issa met on 30 July 2021 and discussed the Lybian students’ opportunities of studying at the University of Banja Luka.
Adviser to the Minister of Education of Libya emphasizes that this country is primarily interested in the potential education of students of the second and third cycle of studies in the study programmes that are conducted at the University of Banja Luka. Furthermore, as S O Issa pointed out, in addition to the possible enrollment of students at the University of Banja Luka and public higher education institutions in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the plan is for the Libyan students to study in seven more countries.
At the meeting that took place in the premises of the University of Banja Luka Rectorate, readiness was expressed for students from Libya to study at the University of Banja Luka, and the Libyan side was informed about the possibilities and capacities of our higher education institution. They were also introduced to the conditions and advantages of studying at the University of Banja Luka as the leading higher education institution in the Republic of Srpska.
This meeting was also attended by Vice-Rector for Scientific Research and Development Prof. Goran Latinović, PhD, and Assistant Adviser to the Minister of Education of Libya Ahmed Mohamed Sharaa.
