University of Banja Luka Got Six Electric Scooters
University of Banja LukaGeneral-Employees of the University of Banja Luka have six electric scooters available as of 10 May 2022 that were purchased through the national project "University Campus - Green City".
As Predrag Govedarica, Senior Entrepreneurship Development Associate of the University of Banja Luka, pointed out, electric scooters and necessary additional equipment valued at BAM 4,500 were purchased through the project funded by the Environmental Protection and Energy Efficiency Fund of the Republic of Srpska.
,,The electric scooters will be used by employees of the Institute of Genetic Resources, as well as other employees of the University of Banja Lukaˮ, said Govedarica, the coordinator of this national project implemented by the Entrepreneurship and Technology Transfer Centre of the University of Banja Luka.
He reminded that electric scooters are one of the simplest ways to protect the environment.
,,Replacing passenger vehicles with electric scooters reduces greenhouse gas emissions and slows down climate change, Govedarica said and thanked the Environmental Protection and Energy Efficiency Fund of the Republic of Srpska for supporting this project.
