Workshops in Project Preparations Held
GeneralThe workshops "Creating project proposals in the field of humanities and social sciences" were held at the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Banja Luka.
The workshops held on 21 and 27 October and 9 November 2022 were attended by employed professors and teaching assistants from six faculties, as well as interested students of the University of Banja Luka. The training was led by the executive director of the humanitarian organization Genesis from Banja Luka, Dijana Pejić, MA, who has over 25 years of experience in the preparation and management of projects.
More than 25 participants had the opportunity to learn, through interactive work in groups, the basic elements of the process of creating project proposals, basic project terminology, defining project activities, goals and indicators, the basics of budgeting, and elements of monitoring and evaluation.
At the final workshop, participants had the opportunity to present their own project proposals, created through group work at the workshops. The training of the participants will lead to their more active involvement in the drafting of project proposals, and the potential application and implementation of project activities in the field of scientific research at the local, national and international level.
Coordinator of project activities for the University of Banja Luka Prof. Slavica Tutnjević, PhD, expressed her satisfaction with the activities carried out so far and announced the continuation of the training through an advanced module, where interested participants will have the opportunity to learn more about the process of preparing applications for projects at the European level, such as Erasmus - Capacity Building and Horizon Europe.
The workshops were organized within the international project POLICY ANSWERS R&I POLICY making, implementation ANd Support in the WEsteRn BalkanS, in which the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Banja Luka is one of the members of the consortium. This project belongs to the Coordination and Support Actions funded by the European Union through the Horizon Europe programme.
