Construction Works on the Building of the Faculty of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy and the Faculty of Forestry Completed

All construction works on the building of the Faculty of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy and the Faculty of Forestry of the University of Banja Luka have been successfully completed.

The Steering Board of the University was informed about it at its 23^rd session, held on 4 May 2023.

As stated in its report to the Steering Board of the University of Banja Luka by the Commission for the Control of Construction Works on the Building under Construction of the Faculty of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy and the Faculty of Forestry, a usage permit for the building and an energy certificate of the Environmental Protection Fund of the Republic of Srpska based on the energy audit of the building is to be obtained in the forthcoming period. The technical acceptance of the facility will be undertaken in June, whereafter the usage permit will be obtained from the Department of Spatial Development of the City of Banja Luka.

It is certainly important to emphasize that the procedure for public procurement of furniture and equipment for this building is underway, with the aim of ensuring that these two faculties start the next academic year in their new premises.

Funds for the completion of the works on the building of the Faculty of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy and the Faculty of Forestry were provided by the Government of the Republic of Srpska, and the construction works, which lasted from July 2021 to April this year, were carried out by a consortium of Banja Luka companies led by Tekton Company.
