Prof. Milica Balaban, PhD, Elected Vice-Rector for Teaching and Student Affairs

At the 97th session held on 21 September 2023, the Senate of the University elected Prof. Milica Balaban, PhD, as vice-rector for teaching and student affairs at the University of Banja Luka.

Milica Balaban, PhD, is an associate professor in the scientific field of Organic Chemistry at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics of the University of Banja Luka, where she is the Head of the Chemistry Study Programme. Before being elected to the position of vice-rector for teaching and student affairs, she was vice-rector for international and inter-university
cooperation.

She completed her undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral studies at the Faculty of Chemistry at the University of Belgrade, and she did her postdoctoral research at the University of Tokyo.

She has taken part in many conferences and projects, and is the author of numerous scientific papers and several books.
