25 Newly Employed Teaching Assistants and Assistant Professors at the University of Banja Luka

Rector of the University of Banja Luka Prof. Radoslav Gajanin, PhD, organized a reception for newly employed teaching assistants, senior teaching assistants and assistant professors who are as of the academic year 2023/24 employed at the leading higher education institution in the Republic of Srpska - the University of Banja Luka.

Rector Gajanin specified that these are teaching assistants, senior teaching assistants and assistant professors who achieved the best results as students.

He stated that according to the election procedures only the best can enter the academic community, and he wished the new employees a successful academic career.

"We expect progress in every sense, the improvement of teaching and the teaching process at the University, but also the improvement of scientific research." We expect our new professors and teaching assistants to be actively involved in science and research at their respective departments, and to get involved in projects led by the faculties", Gajanin emphasized during the reception also attended by Vice-Rector for Material and Human Resources of the University of Banja Luka Prof. Dalibor Kesić, PhD.

According to the rector, the professors and teaching assistants who work at the University achieve remarkable results.

Teaching assistant at the Faculty of Technology Nebojša Suvajčević said that his goal is to stay in the Republic of Srpska.

"I think in the future there will be even more companies looking for mechanical engineers on the market, which is why I would recommend young people to consider getting this degree", Suvajčević added.

As of the academic year 2023/24, altogether 25 new teaching assistants, senior teaching assistants and assistant professors were employed at the University of Banja Luka.
