Dean Škrbić and Colleagues at the European Section Meeting of the International Academy

Dean of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Banja Luka Prof. Ranko Škrbić, PhD, and associates at the faculty took part in the work of the European Section Meeting of the International Academy of Cardiovascular Sciences, held this year in Timișoara from 4 to 9 October 2023.

About 200 researchers from Europe, USA and Canada attended the conference.

During the four days of the conference, our researchers presented the results of previous research, and at the same time used the opportunity to exchange experience with researchers from other world research centres and universities.

Researchers from the Centre for Biomedical Research of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Banja Luka presented themselves at the conference with five poster presentations and two invited lectures. It is important to note that physiatrist Zorislava Bajić received the first prize of the International Expert Jury for the best poster with results in the field of cardiovascular research. This recognition is also a recognition of the entire team of the Centre for Biomedical Research of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Banja Luka.

During this visit, Dean Škrbić and Dean of the Faculty of Medical Sciences of the University of Kragujevac Prof. Vladimir Jakovljević, PhD, visited the Union of Serbs of Romania in Timișoara, where they talked with the president of the Union of Serbs of Romania Ognjan Krstić and his associates.
