Meeting of the Rector and President of the Serbian Medical Association

During the cordial conversation at the Rectorate of the University of Banja Luka, they talked about strengthening the cooperation between our higher education institution and the Serbian Medical Association, with a special emphasis on cooperation with the Faculty of Medicine. The meeting attended by academician Prof. Duško Vulić, PhD, was also an opportunity to discuss joint participation in scientific projects.
The Serbian Medical Association is a professional organization that gathers over 25,000 doctors in Serbia, founded in 1872 on the initiative of Dr. Vladan Đorđević. The Association has 29 branches, and it has a large number of specialist sections and the Medical Academy. The Association of Doctors of Vojvodina and the Association of Doctors of Kosovo and Metohija are part of the Serbian Medical Association.
The goal of the Association is the continuous professional development of its members and the application of modern scientific achievements in everyday medical practice. The Association publishes professional journals: "Lekar", "Srpski arhiv" and "Stomatološki glasnik Srbije".
