Representatives of IGR at the Forum in Belgrade

Director of the Institute of Genetic Resources (IGR), Asst. Prof. Marina Antić, PhD, and Asst. Prof. Mirela Kajkut Zeljković, PhD, are participating in the AI4 Life: BIOTECH FUTURE FORUM.

The forum is taking place on 24 and 25 October 2024 in Belgrade and supports the efforts of the Government of the Republic of Serbia in the process of digital transformation, especially in the context of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

This is the third conference of this type that has been organized since 2022 in cooperation with the World Economic Forum and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) with the support of BIO4 Campus, a new bioeconomy centre in Europe.

During the Forum, contacts were made with researchers from the field of biotechnology with the aim of establishing cooperation between institutions.

The representatives of the Institute also attended the formal reception that was organized before the Forum in the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, hosted by the President of the National Assembly, Ana Brnabić.
