Sanja Milicevic at the International week of the Russian language

Senior Assistant at Study program of Russian and Serbian language and literature at Faculty of Philology of the University of Banja Luka, Sanja Milicevic, MA, attended the International week of the Russian language „East-West“, held from 17 to 19 October 2024 in Istanbul.

The working part of the program included expert lectures in Russian philology, interactive workshops, as well as several round tables with different topics. Sanja Milicevic presented activities of the Center for Russian studies at the Faculty of Philology within the round table „Specifics of teaching Russian language, literature and culture in high education of foreign countries“.

The event was also attended by the director of the Cultural Center ,,Ruski mirˮ (Russian world) M.Sc. Natalija Milakovic, who spoke about the status of the Russian language in the education system of the Republic of Srpska. We should mention that the event was also attended by prof. Biljana Maric, PhD, who is engaged in the Faculty of Philology at the University of Banja Luka.
The organizers of the International week of the Russian language that gathered in one place more than 100 participants from 31 European and Asian countries, were Moscow State Linguistic University and ,,Rosotrudničestvoˮ center.
