General

The Dean of the Faculty of Philosophy at the University of Banja Luka, Prof. Srđan Dušanić, PhD, delivered a keynote lecture at the prestigious international conference “Religious Identity, Bullying, and Wellbeing at School: Transnational Collaboration,” held on 7 and 8 April 2025 at the University of Seville.

The conference, which brought together 70 researchers from over 30 countries, forms part of the European COST programme focused on the study of religious identity, bullying, and wellbeing in educational contexts.

Professor Dušanić's lecture, titled “Religiosity: Personal, Interpersonal, and Intergroup Correlates”, focused on the psychology of religiosity, a field in which he has conducted research for over 20 years.

Dean Dušanić expressed satisfaction with his participation in this significant event, emphasising that the lecture served as excellent promotion for the Faculty of Philosophy and the University of Banja Luka at the European level.

“It is essential that each of our researchers, especially those in senior academic positions, steps out into the wider academic arena to demonstrate and affirm their knowledge and quality. The healthiest path for the development of our society is for each individual to become internationally competitive within their own fields of work,” stated Prof. Dušanić
