Rector Gajanin hosted professors from Shanghai
University of Banja LukaGeneralThe Rector of the University of Banja Luka, Prof. Radoslav Gajanin, PhD, met with a group of professors from Shanghai University of Medicine and Healthcare Sciences on 27 May 2025.
During the reception at the Rectorate, they discussed the upcoming joint activities that the colleagues from Shanghai will realize with the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Banja Luka. Special emphasis was placed on significant research in the field of Biomedicine, which will be conducted at the Innovation Center for the international transfer of technologies in Biomedicine. This center, opened last year at the Faculty of Medicine, is a key point in cooperation and exchange of scientific achievements between the two universities.
On behalf of the University of Banja Luka, besides the Rector, attendees were Vice-Rector for Human and Material Resources – Prof. Dalibor Kesić, PhD, and Director of the Confucius Institute, Associate Professor Ljiljana Stević, PhD.
The Shanghai delegation consisted of professors Liang Zhou, Wenlong Zhao, Jiachen Guo, Jingzhen Guo, Yu Ying, Zheng Xuewen.
