Students of the Academy of Arts performed in “Milanović’s” house

Students of the Academy of Arts of the University of Banja Luka prepared an unforgettable evening of chamber music, performing in front of a large crowd in the Milanović house. 

The concert was held on Thursday, 29 May 2025, with a rich repertoire for different chamber ensembles.  Students performed in duo, trio and quartet formations, with carefully selected compositions, and showed a high level of music maturity and artistic cooperation.

Professor Timea Hotić pointed out that such performances are a result of dedicated work during the whole academic year and that chamber music concerts present a significant segment of the art practice of the Academy.

,,These concerts became recognized in Banja Luka's cultural life. Chamber music is special in the sense that it connects students of different ensembles and allows them to express themselves in a collective performance. This time we heard very interesting compositions, composed for this kind of ensembles,” said Hotić.

A student, Bogdan Pavlović, shared his impressions, pointing out the significance of such performances for young artists.

,,It really means a lot that we had a chance to perform, before an audience, what we have been preparing during the year,” said Pavlović.

With this concert, the Academy of Arts continues its mission to promote young talents and enrich the cultural scene of Banja Luka.
