Delegation from Poland Visits the University

This week, the University of Banja Luka hosted a delegation from Bialystok University of Technology in Poland, comprising Professor Dorota Mozerska, PhD, Dean of the Faculty of Computer Science, and Ms Grażyna Jakimiuk, Deputy Head of Mobility and International Agreements Unit.

The guests from Poland met with Professor Kristina Pantelić Babić, PhD, Vice-Rector for International and Inter-University Cooperation, and Professor Milica Balaban, PhD, Vice-Rector for Teaching, Student Affairs and Quality. The discussions focused on the existing cooperation between the two universities and prospects for future joint activities, with particular emphasis on participation within the European Across Alliance.

During their visit, Dean Mozerska delivered a lecture at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics. The delegation also visited the Faculties of Forestry, Electrical Engineering, and Philosophy. Representatives from Bialystok also met with members of the Across Alliance teams working within work packages 2.4 and 4.1.

The visit is said to have marked an important step in further strengthening the partnership and academic exchange, as well as in enhancing inter-university collaboration in the fields of education, research, and innovation.

Bialystok University of Technology is the largest technical higher education institution in north-eastern Poland, with more than 7,000 students across six faculties.
