Meeting with the rector of the Tianjin University of Technology and Education

The rector of the University of Banja Luka, prof. Radoslav Gajanin, PhD, and the rector of the Tianjin University of Technology and Education (TUTE) from the Chinese city of Tianjin, prof. Zheng Qingchun, PhD, met on 7 November 2025 at the Rectorate of the University of Banja Luka.

The meeting focused on the advancement and deepening of cooperation between the faculties of mechanical engineering of the two higher education institutions. As stated during the meeting, the cooperation between these two faculties has already produced concrete results in the field of joint research projects, with one of their projects receiving support from the city of Tianjin.

Rector Gajanin expressed particular gratitude to the Chinese delegation for visiting Banja Luka for the University’s 50th anniversary celebration.

In addition to the rectors of the two institutions, the meeting was attended by the vice-rector of the University of Banja Luka for teaching and student affairs, prof. Milica Balaban, PhD, and the director of the Office for International Cooperation of TUTE, prof. Zhang Lei, PhD.
