The Monograph on Social Care has been published 

The first monography dedicated to the study program of Social Care in Banja Luka was published under the title “Quarter of a century of educating social care workers in the Republic of Srpska”, under the editing of Prof. Ana Gavrilović, PhD, and Prof. Ljubo Lepir, PhD, from the Faculty of Political Science (FPN UNIBL).

The Monograph includes twenty-five years of existence and development of the Social Care studies at the University of Banja Luka, and in its 356 pages, it brings a comprehensive overview of its development from its establishment to date.

The content is structured in 7 thematic chapters, processing key aspects of educating social care workers: social and academic context of education in the country and abroad, the history of organizing studies at the Faculty of Philosophy and Faculty of Political Science, development of teaching curricula, scientific-research work, modernization of teaching process, engagement of teaching staff, and students’ contribution to achievement of social goal of the studies.

A number of authors participated in the creation of the monograph, former and current professors, assistants, students, and administrative staff, whose contribution was of key significance for the organization of studies and implementation of teaching and scientific research goals of the Social Care studies.

The financing for the printing of the monography, besides the Faculty of Political Science at the University of Banja Luka, also came from the Ministry of Scientific Technological Development and Higher Education of the Republic of Srpska, social care institutions, and partner organizations for persons with disabilities.
