Danijela Kardaš Aničić published in a prestigious magazine
University of Banja LukaGeneral-The Senior Assistant at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the University of Banja Luka, Danijela Kardaš Aničić, MA, published a scientific paper titled „Experimental comparison of the electrical efficiency of photovoltaics and photovoltaics-thermal hybrid system in real operation conditions” in a prestigious international magazine Energy, with an impact factor 9,4, which is issued by the publishing house Elsevier.
The magazine is in Q1 category in the field of Energy & Fuels, which positions it among the leading magazines in the field of energy at an international level.
The research was part of the project ,,Enhancing Scientific Capacities for Energy Poverty” (ENPOWER), financed through Horizon Europe. Danijela Kardaš Aničić is a member of the research team from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Banja Luka, which is also the coordinator of the project. The paper was also a part of her PhD dissertation she is preparing at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Belgrade, under the mentorship of Prof. Mirko Komatina, PhD.
The paper shows experimental comparison of the electrical efficiency of classical photovoltaic (PV) systems and hybrid photovoltaic-thermal (PVT) systems in real working conditions. Obtained results contribute to better understanding of performance of hybrid systems of renewable energy sources and their further optimization.
Coauthors of the paper are Prof. Mirko Komatina, Prof. Petar Gvero, PhD, Prof. Bojan Knežević, PhD, and Milan Pupčević, MA, which reaffirmed the strengthening of researching capacity of the University of Banja Luka and a successful cooperation with the University of Belgrade.
This publication additionally contributes to international visibility of the University of Banja Luka and the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, as well as affirming the scientific research activity in the field of sustainable energy systems.
