An Erasmus+ staff training week titled BLENDin: Banja Luka Erasmus Networking Days is currently taking place at the University of Banja Luka. 

The training week was officially opened on April 20 at the Student Cultural Center of the University of Banja Luka and will run until April 24, 2026.

The event was opened by Vice-Rector for International and Inter-University Cooperation, Professor Kristina Pantelić Babić, PhD, who welcomed the participants and wished them a successful and productive training week.

During the second day of the program, participants had the opportunity to attend a lecture by Assoc. Prof. Branislav Vukojević, PhD, on the application of artificial intelligence in education, as well as a lecture by Bojana Trbić, Head of the University Center for Support to Students with Disabilities, on improving inclusion in higher education. In addition, Andre Zwingeberger Klaren from the Chemnitz University of Technology delivered a lecture on the challenges of employing international students. Participants also had the opportunity to take part in a relaxation session led by Prof. Jolanta Grażyna Zuzda, PhD, from the Białystok University of Technology. 

On April 22, the opening of the International Fair is scheduled to take place at the Faculty of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy and the Faculty of Forestry, starting at 10:00 a.m. The fair will be open to students and professors. In addition, through workshops and interactive sessions planned for the remainder of the training week, participants will have the opportunity to exchange experiences and establish new contacts in the field of international cooperation.

The training week has brought together participants from several European countries, including Germany, Poland, the Czech Republic, Portugal, Serbia, and Spain, who will share their experiences and best practices in the field of international cooperation during their stay, as well as become more familiar with the University of Banja Luka.

The organization of events such as this contributes to strengthening the international visibility and positioning of the University of Banja Luka as an important center in the field of higher education and international cooperation.
