Non-working days in Republika Srpska will be Friday and Saturday, May 1 and 2, 2026, on the occasion of International Workers’ Day, as well as Saturday, May 9 of the current year, when Victory over Fascism Day is marked, the Ministry of Administration and Local Self-Government announced.

As stated in the announcement, during public holidays of the Republic, republican authorities and organizations, local self-government units, companies, institutions, and other organizations, as well as individuals engaged in professional service and production activities, do not work.

On the mentioned days, the University of Banja Luka will also be closed.
