Full Professor at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics, University of Banja Luka, Svjetlana Lolić, PhD, stayed at the University of Public Service “Ludovika” in Budapest from 20 to 24 April 2026 as a scholar of the Ludovika Scholars program.
The aim of the program is to strengthen scientific cooperation and support joint research activities, particularly among Eastern European countries.
During her stay, Prof. Lolić delivered lectures and a workshop for students and staff of the Faculty of Water Sciences on the topics “Impact of Climate Change on Water Resources in Bosnia and Herzegovina” and “Monitoring Surface Water Quality under Climate Change Conditions: From Parameters to Practice”, at the campuses of the University in Budapest and Baja.
Within the program, she also participated in several meetings with representatives of the academic community of the University “Ludovika”, including Gergely Deli, Pier Paolo Pigozzi, Éva Scherégi-Villén, Tamás Pálvölgyi, and Enikő Anna Tamás.
Participation in the program contributes to the further strengthening of scientific cooperation and knowledge exchange in the field of ecology and water resource management.
