The Vice-Rector for Human and Material Resources Prof. Dalibor Kesić, PhD, and Vice-Rector for International and Inter-University Cooperation, Prof. Kristina Pantelić Babić, PhD, met on 29 April 2026 with Prof. Dr. Zhang Weiwei, one of the leading world experts in the field of international relations.

During the meeting in the Rectorate, which was also attended by the Director of Confucius Institute at the University of Banja Luka, Associate Prof. Ljiljana Stević, PhD, they discussed the improvement and intensifying the cooperation with higher education institutions in the People’s Republic of China. Particular emphasis was put on the possibilities to establish new forms of academic and scientific research cooperation with the esteemed Fudan University, the home institution of Prof. Dr. Zhang Weiwei.

In the continuation of the visit to the University of Banja Luka, Prof. Weiwei held a lecture titled “Relation of world forces in a multipolar world order” at the Faculty of Political Sciences, which gathered students, professors and researchers.
