Representatives of the University of Banja Luka participated in a working meeting within the ACROSS Alliance, held from 6 to 8 May 2026 at the University of Craiova, dedicated to cross-border knowledge exchange and regional research policies.

Among the representatives of the nine partner universities, active participation was taken by Assistant Professor Vladimir Petković, PhD, of the Faculty of Forestry and Milica Marić, Project Manager at the Centre for Development and Support to Research of the University of Banja Luka.

Prof. Petković participated in the work of the team as an expert within the session dedicated to specific research challenges and development perspectives, while Marić, together with Prof. Luis Maria from the University of Girona, led the workshop titled “From Idea to Project Application”, intended for knowledge creation teams.

During the meeting, the progress achieved so far was presented, along with the role and future plans of the knowledge creation teams within the ACROSS Alliance network.

The program also included strategic discussions on strengthening the impact of joint working teams, as well as cooperation with regional partners in the fields of innovation and smart industry.
