The University of Banja Luka was presented as an example of good practice in the implementation of projects within Horizon Europe during an online info session held on 26 May 2026.
The info session was organized within the project “EU for Digital Transformation in Bosnia and Herzegovina” (EU4DT), co-funded by the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany and the European Union through the SEDEP program, in cooperation with the Ministry of Civil Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the network of National Contact Points for the Horizon Europe Program in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
As part of the central segment of the program entitled “Learning from Practice: Experiences and Lessons Learned from Participation in Horizon Europe Projects,” Milica Marić, project manager at the Center for Development and Research Support of the University of Banja Luka, presented the achievements and experiences gained in the implementation of international projects, with a special focus on the RETLAMI-SEE project.
On this occasion, other active Horizon Europe projects at the University were also presented, confirming its significant role in strengthening scientific research capacities and international cooperation.
During the presentation, particular emphasis was placed on the importance of institutional support for researchers, as well as on the role of the Center for Development and Research Support throughout all phases of the project cycle – from idea development and partner search to administrative and financial project management.
The online session gathered more than 60 participants, who had the opportunity to learn about upcoming calls in the fields of digital transformation, creative industries, democratic resilience, and media literacy, as well as support services for the development of project proposals.
