Applications for admission to the second and third cycles of study (master’s and doctoral studies) at the University of Banja Luka for the 2026/2027 academic year are open from June 22 to October 2, 2026.

Rank lists will be published no later than October 16, while enrollment of admitted candidates will take place from October 19 to 23.

A total of 971 students are planned to be enrolled in the second cycle of studies, including 523 state-funded students, 254 self-financing students, 98 international students, and 87 part-time students.

As for the third cycle of studies, enrollment is planned for 167 candidates. Of that number, 135 places are allocated to self-financing students, 31 to international students, and one place is reserved for a part-time student.

Applications for the Second Cycle of Studies

Candidates applying for admission to the second cycle of studies are required to submit a birth certificate, a certificate of citizenship issued within the previous six months, the original or a certified copy of their first-cycle degree diploma, a transcript of records, the curriculum of the completed study program if they graduated from another faculty, and proof of payment of the examination fee.

Applications for the Third Cycle of Studies

For admission to the third cycle of studies, candidates are required to submit a birth certificate, a certificate of citizenship issued within the previous six months, certified copies of first- and second-cycle degree diplomas or an equivalency certificate for qualifications obtained under previously applicable regulations, a diploma supplement or transcript of records indicating the grade point average, the curriculum for candidates who studied under the pre-Bologna system, proof of payment of administrative fees, and a bibliography.

Candidates may also apply electronically through the online enrollment application. Candidates applying electronically are required to submit the original documentation at the time of enrollment.
