As part of the Third World Conference of Sinologists, organized by the World Sinology Center of Beijing University of Language and Culture and the Chinese Association for International Exchange, Prof. Željka Babić, PhD, representing the Center for Sinological Research and the Sinology Study Program of the Faculty of Philology at the University of Banja Luka, is visiting Beijing, Dunhuang, and Changsha in the People's Republic of China from May 30 to June 9, 2026.

On this occasion, Dr. Babić presented the Friend of the Faculty of Philology Charter to Prof. Baofang Xu, PhD, Director of the World Sinology Center, in recognition of his outstanding merits and exceptional contribution to the development of the Faculty of Philology.

During the Beijing segment of the conference, dedicated to the humanities, Prof. Babić presented a paper entitled “Digital Reality as Part of the Classroom: Experiences from Bosnia and Herzegovina” within the subforum “Digital Integration and Global Chinese Language Education.”

The conference brings together more than 300 presenters from all parts of the world and represents an excellent opportunity to showcase the work and research achievements of sinologists from the University of Banja Luka. At the same time, participation in this important international event contributes to the further strengthening of the internationalization process at the University of Banja Luka.
