Prof. Goran Janjić, PhD, from the University of Banja Luka presented the University’s experience in conducting self-evaluation of study programmes at a two-day round table held on 29 and 30 September 2026 at the University of Sarajevo, as part of the Erasmus+ SMEQA project.
Janjić presented the experience of the University of Banja Luka in conducting self-evaluation of study programmes, as well as the challenges encountered by the University throughout this process.
The round table focused on the experiences gained during the piloting of internal evaluation and the training of experts. Representatives of other universities participating in the project also presented their experiences.
As part of the event, a panel discussion was held on the criteria for the selection and appointment of experts, their professional qualifications and competencies, as well as experiences and lessons learned from the expert training activities carried out.
The round table provided an opportunity to exchange experiences and knowledge, discuss challenges and examples of good practice, and jointly consider opportunities for further improving quality assurance systems in higher education in the Republika Srpska and the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
