Agreement on Cooperation Signed with the Ministry of Internal Affairs of RS

On 26 July 2019, an Agreement on Cooperation between the Faculty of Security Sciences of Banja Luka University and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Srpska was signed in Banja Luka. 

The Agreement signed by the dean Predrag Ceranic, Assistant Professor, and Minister Dragan Lukac regulates the terms and conditions for the cooperation in the field of student practice, vocational training and professional exam for those who have graduated from the Faculty of Security Sciences in Banja Luka.

The Faculty undertakes to provide sufficient class load for vocational subjects, marksmanship training and to organize vocational practice through the relevant organizational units of the Ministry, thereafter the students will be capable of performing the tasks of a police officer. On the other hand, the Ministry undertakes to, in pursuit with legal regulations in force, conclude an agreement on professional training with those who have graduated from the Faculty of Security Sciences.

After completing the vocational training, the graduates take the professional exam and thereafter fulfill the conditions to, in accordance with the needs of the Ministry and as stipulated by the Law on Police and Internal Affairs, get employed as a police officer.
