Anastasija Marić Participated in the Students’ Conference

The student of the Serbian Language and Literature Study Programme at the Faculty of Philology of the University of Banja Luka Anastasija Marić participated as the only representative of the Republic of Srpska and BH in the online students’ conference titled „The Main Characteristics of Serbian Culture”, held between 6 and 10 November 2020.

The conference was held within the Second Scientific-Practical School of Serbian Studies, and organized by the Faculty of Philology of the Lomonosov Moscow State University, the Institute of Linguistics of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the Institute for Slavic Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences and the Faculty of Philology of the University of Belgrade. The conference was attended by around thirty students and PhD candidates from Russia, Serbia, Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina. The topics of the conference, which included lectures by eminent Russian and Serbian scientists, were Serbian language, literature and culture, and Slavic philology. Anastasija Marić presented the paper "Music in the 16-Century Pastoral Dramas in Dubrovnik". 

Hence, the cooperation between the Faculty of Philology of the Lomonosov Moscow State University and the Faculty of Philology of the University of Banja Luka continued. It is important to emphasize that the member of the organizing committee of the Second Scientific-Practical School of Serbian Studies was Assist. Prof. Ekaterina Jakushkina, PhD, who was in Banja Luka with her students in May 2019 for field research.
