Held a presentation on the benefits of open science for researchers

The organizer of this event was the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the University of Banja Luka, and the event was intended for employees of scientific institutions who work or intend to work on scientific research projects, especially projects funded by the European Commission.
Within the presentations, a practical example of the use of open data, open source tools, and open scientific research infrastructures in order to create a system for automatic classification of satellite images was presented.
A practical presentation of the workflow and the way of using open science was presented, with the aim of making it easier for scientists to engage in science. In addition, the basic principles of responsible research and innovation are presented, as well as their interrelationship, as well as the importance of their application for scientific research projects.
The focus was on five key thematic units within responsible research and innovation, namely ethics, gender equality, science education, open access and public involvement. At the end, the possibilities of cooperation within the H2020 project NI4OS - Europe were presented.
