Dean and Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Philosophy on a Working Visit to Berlin
GeneralDean Prof. Srđan Dušanić, PhD, and Vice-Dean for Scientific Research and International Cooperation of the Faculty of Philosophy at the University of Banja Luka Prof. Siniša Lakić, PhD, paid a working visit to the International Psychoanalytic University Berlin (IPU Berlin) from 5 to 12 February 2022.
Namely, as part of the Erasmus+ programme, since 2015 there has been an exchange of teaching and administrative staff. The Department of Psychology at the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Banja Luka, has been a member of the international research network led by IPU Berlin for many years. It is a network that deals with the phenomenon and consequences of social trauma, and today it is called the STICS netowork.
It is important to emphasize that the International Psychoanalytic University in Berlin received a coordinating project funded by the Erasmus+ programme this year, which aims to introduce joint studies of the second cycle of studies, with the working title, "Transcultural Social Psychology - Transformation Processes in Work, Environment, Society''. Our Faculty of Philosophy is a member of the consortium on this project together with the universities of Stockholm, Padua and Niš.
During the visit, Dean Dušanić and Vice Dean Lakić, an application was prepared for the new cycle of Erasmus + exchange between this German university and the Faculty of Philosophy, and they also talked about strengthening cooperation between these two higher education institutions. Among other things, during this visit paid within the Erasmus+ programme, the dean and vice- dean of the Faculty of Philosophy presented the changes made in the system in which the faculty functioned over the past period, and separate meetings were held with the President of the International Psychoanalytic University Prof. Jan-Hendrik Olbertz, PhD, Vice President Prof. Birgit Stürmer, PhD, and with the Head of the successful Office for International Cooperation Carmen Scher.
