Meeting with the Delegation from the University of Agronomic Sciences and Veterinary Medicine of Bucharest
University of Banja LukaGeneralRepresentatives of the Office for International and Interuniversity Cooperation of the University of Banja Luka met on 25 February 2022 with the delegation from the University of Agronomic Sciences and Veterinary Medicine of Bucharest led by Vice-Rector for International Relations Prof. Florin Stanica, PhD.
During the meeting held at the Rectorate of the University of Banja Luka, they talked about expanding cooperation to all compatible areas of the two universities, the exchange of students and staff, co-mentoring on candidates in the third cycle of studies, joint conferences and joint publishing.
In addition to the Vice-Rector for International Relations, on behalf of the University of Agronomic Sciences and Veterinary Medicine the meeting was also attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Horticulture Prof. Adrian Asanica, PhD. On behalf of the University of Banja Luka, the meeting was attended by Vice-Rector for International and Interuniversity Cooperation Prof. Biljana Antunović, PhD, Vice-Dean for Scientific Research and International Cooperation of the Faculty of Agriculture Prof. Željko Vaško, PhD, Prof. Miljan Cvjetković, PhD, Senior Associate for International and Interuniversity Cooperation Jelena Rožić, MA, and Senior Associate for Staff and Student Exchange Đorđe Kenjalo, MA.
During their stay in Banja Luka, the delegation from Bucharest also visited the Faculty of Agriculture of the University of Banja Luka. During this visit, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Faculty of Agriculture and this Institute, and cooperation was agreed within the international exchange of staff and students through the Erasmus+ programme.
The University of Agronomic Sciences and Veterinary Medicine of Bucharest is the oldest and largest higher education institution in the field of agricultural sciences and veterinary medicine in Romania. It is one of the partners in the Erasmus+ Viral Capacity Building project, coordinator of which is the University of Banja Luka.
