Cooperation with the AlexandrinskyTheatre

Dean of the Academy of Arts of the University of Banja Luka Prof. Dragana Purković Macan, PhD, and Director of the Federal State Budgetary Institution of Culture of the National Drama Theatre of Russia - Alexandrinsky Theatre Emelyanov Sergey Vitalievich signed an agreement on cooperation between the two institutions on 10 January 2024.

The agreement signed at the University of Banja Luka Rectorate, among other things, envisages the strengthening of cooperation in the field of theatre arts. As stated, in the next two years, under the agreement with the Alexandrinsky Theatre, they will be working jointly on the organization and holding of creative meetings, round tables, conferences, and other education events with prominent artists from the field of creative industries, literature and other forms of culture. 

The signing of the agreement was attended by the rector of our university, Prof. Radoslav Gajanin, PhD, Director of the National Theatre of the Republic of Srpska Dijana Grbić, the representative of the Alexandrinsky Theatre Danil Tolmachev, and the advisor for scientific, educational and cultural cooperation of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Bosnia and Herzegovina Yuri Pichugin. This visit by guests from St. Petersburg was also an opportunity to discuss other forms of cooperation.
