Bulletin of the Faculty of Forestry on the DOAJ List

Bulletin of the Faculty of Forestry of the University of Banja Luka has been on the DOAJ list since 18 March 2024.

The effort, work and dedication of the journal editors resulted in the Bulletin of the Faculty of Forestry of the University of Banja Luka being indexed in the DOAJ (Directory of Open Access Journals). DOAJ is a unique and extensive index of diverse open access journals from around the world, driven by a growing scientific community, and is committed to ensuring quality content, which is freely available online for everyone.                                   

"Undoubtedly, this is a significant step in increasing the visibility of our journal, the Faculty of Forestry and the University in the scientific world, and in the future we expect an increase in the quantity and quality of received and published papers", representatives of the Faculty of Forestry said.

What is also important, in addition to increasing the visibility of the journal, is the fact that by indexing the journal in the aforementioned directory scientists may, according to the Study Rules at the third cycle of studies at the University of Banja Luka, publish papers and be entitled to be mentors, and students at the third study cycle can meet the requirements of writing and publishing papers in journals from the DOAJ list by publishing papers in the Bulletin of the Faculty of Forestry of the University of Banja Luka.
