Strengthening the cooperation with the Russian institute of theatrical arts - GITIS
University of Banja LukaGeneralRector of the University of Banja Luka, Prof. Radoslav Gajanin, PhD, and representatives of the Russian institute of theatrical arts – GITIS, talked about signing of a new Cooperation agreement on 1 July 2024.
As was stated in the meeting held in Rector’s cabinet, the new agreement shall define organizing a number of master classes, as well as a joint activity on a students’ show that will have its Opening night next year at the recently opened Students’ Cultural Centre at the University of Banja Luka. It is planned that roles in this show shall be interpreted by the Academy of arts, while the director, scenographer and costumes designers will be from the Russian institute of theatrical arts – GITIS. It is also planned to organize visits of teaching staff, associates and students to this Russian institute.
It is important to emphasize that cooperation with this important Russian institution has been going on for several years, and it is reflected in a number of visits and a joint participation in organizing many passed events.
Together with Rector Gajanin, in the delegation that talked to GITIS representatives – prof. Ekaterina Granitova and prof. Robert Elkibaev, there were Vice-Rector for international and interuniversity cooperation, prof. Kristina Pantelic Babic, PhD, the Dean of the Academy of arts, prof. Dragana Purkovic Macan, PhD, and prof. M.Sc. Elena Kostic – Trepetova.
