Representatives of the University of Banja Luka (UNIBL) contributed to the valuation of knowledge in bioeconomic research during a Spring School, which took place in Bucharest from 15 to 17 April 2026, along with the event dedicated to clustering in bioeconomy.
Events organized within the BEAMING project brought together many experts and researchers with the aim of improving the processes of transforming scientific results into economic and social value.
Our professor at the Faculty of Agriculture, Dr Željko Vaško, took part as one of the key speakers in a lecture titled “Analysis of the feasibility threshold of drones’ usage for chemical protection of crops”, presenting economic insights derived from the ITree project.
Professor Petar Gvero, PhD, from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering presented a coordinator’s project ENPOWER, which is implemented by this faculty, focusing on solutions in the field of energy efficiency and sustainability, while Milica Marić from Center for Development and Support to Research at UNIBL presented the activities within the Across Alliance through presenting the establishment of platforms and improvements of common resources that will enable undisturbed valuation of knowledge within this research ecosystem.
The hosts of these events were the University of Agronomy Sciences and Veterinary Medicine in Bucharest, and the Academy of Agricultural and Forestry Sciences.
