Banja Luka Erasmus Networking Days 2026

BLENDin: Banja Luka Erasmus Networking Days, 20-24 April 2026

University of Banja Luka is very pleased to announce the Erasmus International Staff Training Week: 20-24 April 2026, taking place in Banja Luka, Republic of Srpska, Bosnia and Herzegovina.  

During the week, participants will have the opportunity to attend several sessions, seminars and workshops and actively participate in the programme through the presentation of selected topics. Our Erasmus International Week targets academic and administrative staff members from UNIBL’s partner universities interested in: University of Banja Luka and the European Alliance ACROSS, teaching at UNIBL, exploring new teaching methods and opening up avenues of collaboration with colleagues at UNIBL and other participants to the event.

Program Highlights:

  • Tailored Content: Session topics are finalized based on participant interests indicated in the application form.
  • Networking: International Fair and "Best Practice" forums.
  • Job Shadowing: Dedicated time for departmental exchanges and teaching sessions.
  • Adventure: A guided rafting experience on the Vrbas River and city tours.

Key Details:

  • Target Audience: Administrative and academic staff from Erasmus+ partner institutions.
  • Working Language: English (B1 level recommended).
  • Participation Fee: Free of charge (includes welcome dinner, coffee breaks, and city tour).
  • Funding: Participants are encouraged to use Erasmus+ KA171 or KA131 grants from their home institutions to cover travel and subsistence.
  • International Fair: Participants are invited to bring promotional materials (brochures, banners, or local snacks) to showcase their home university.

Upon registration, we will provide a "Practical Information Guide" featuring suggested travel options and local hotel recommendations.

About the University of Banja Luka:

The University of Banja Luka is the leading higher education and scientific institution in the Republic of Srpska and the second largest university in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The University of Banja Luka comprises 16 faculties, the Academy of Arts and the Institute of Genetic Resources.

At the University of Banja Luka there are currently around 15 000 students from all parts of the Republic of Srpska, but also from abroad. Most faculties of the University of Banja Luka are placed in two university campuses, situated near the banks of the Vrbas river, near the city centre. The campuses include student dormitories with cafeterias, sports courts, student clubs and the University Computer Centre. The University of Banja Luka has all the requisite space, from classrooms and halls, through reading rooms and libraries, to laboratories and computer rooms.
