About the Event
University of Banja Luka is pleased to invite colleagues from partner institutions to the Erasmus International Staff Training Week, taking place from 20 to 24 April 2026 in Banja Luka.
This international week is designed for academic and administrative staff interested in inter-institutional cooperation, new teaching and training approaches, mobility opportunities, and deeper engagement with the University of Banja Luka and the European Alliance ACROSS.
The programme combines professional exchange, thematic sessions, practical collaboration, and informal networking in an open and welcoming university environment.

Why Banja Luka?
Banja Luka is the administrative, university, and cultural centre of the Republic of Srpska and one of the most pleasant cities in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Known for its greenery, riverside atmosphere, and relaxed urban rhythm, it offers a combination of academic energy and genuine hospitality.
Visitors can discover the Kastel Fortress, the Vrbas River, tree-lined boulevards, and a lively café culture, making the city an ideal setting for both professional exchange and cultural discovery.
About the University of Banja Luka
The University of Banja Luka is a leading public higher education institution in the Republic of Srpska and one of the largest universities in Bosnia and Herzegovina. It comprises 16 faculties, the Academy of Arts, and the Institute of Genetic Resources.
With around 15,000 students, modern teaching facilities, university campuses, student services, libraries, laboratories, sports areas, and the University Computer Centre, UNIBL provides a strong academic and institutional environment for international cooperation.
Key Information
- Target Audience: Administrative and academic staff from Erasmus+ partner institutions.
- Language: English, with recommended minimum level B1.
- Fee: Participation is free of charge.
- Included: Welcome dinner, coffee breaks, and selected social activities.
- Funding: Participants are encouraged to use Erasmus+ KA131 or KA171 grants from their home institutions.
- International Fair: Guests are welcome to bring brochures, banners, or small promotional materials from their home institutions.
